Fort Collins Downtown Alley Enhancements – Seckner Alley 

Russell + Mills Studios was hired by the Downtown Development Authority to develop Schematic Design, Design Development and Construction Documents for Old Firehouse Alley and Seckner Alley between Linden, Walnut and Chestnut streets. The alley continued the work on Old Firehouse Alley to the Northwest completed in 2012 and capitalizes on the Downtown Hotel. The work involved one-on-one property owner meetings and incorporated input from City Staff, and various Boards and Commissions. A projection mapping interactive art display was created in conjunction with a mural along the alley. Russell Mills Studios was the lead consultant for the design efforts and design team which includes Civil, Electrical and Structural Engineers. The goal of the project is to create a catalyst for redevelopment and create rich and vibrant shared pedestrian/vehicular spaces within Fort Collins’ rich alley network.
