Ponderosa Schimming

Ponderosa Schimming is a masterplanned community in nestled along the foothills of north Loveland Colorado. The 1,300 dwelling unit community boasts a broad range of housing types including single-family detached lots for smaller starter homes to larger estate lots, paired homes, townhomes, and for rent apartments. The site protects and emphasizes an existing drainage way with minimal road crossing as well as concentrates open spaces along the west side of the site to buffer along the foothills. Circulation within the development as well as connections to existing and future developments were extensively studied to ensure that residents can easily navigate through the development. Higher density residential areas are located along the east side of the property to reduce traffic within the development as well as to reduce impacts to the existing residences along the west side of the property.
