Kendrick Park Master Plan
Russell + Mills Studios were hired by the City of Sheridan to develop a master plan for the historic Kendrick Park, located downtown in Sheridan. The project entailed a weeklong charrette process with the community to understand the values and key essence of the park. The plan reflects what was heard during the charrettes. Key big moves include removing excessive roadways within the lower area of the park and connect the park continuously with the adjacent creek. Additionally, the conversion of a previous roadway into a grand promenade supports a variety of connectivity for pedestrians and cyclists. Integrating the existing wildlife area including bison and elk was a unique element to this project. Scope: Master Plan, outreach. Budget: Budget to implement all phases of the proposed plan: $ 6 million
