Energy Capital Sports Complex Master Plan

Russell + Mills Studios led the master planning effort for a new sports complex in Gillette, WY. The park is envisioned as both a community asset with a variety of activities and program elements as well as a regional destination for baseball, softball, and soccer tournaments. An extensive programming study and parking/circulation analysis was undertaken prior to developing three alternative concepts. Ultimately, a concept that balances community needs such as a community park, archery range, splashpad/pools, outdoor ice rink, with large scale tournament facilities was preferred.
