Larimer Humane Society Facility

Russell + Mills Studios was the site designer and landscape architect for the new Larimer Humane Society facility in Loveland, Colorado. The facility is a significant operational base for the Humane Society, offering adoption, spay and neutering services, dog park for dog owners to use, and a large animal area. A barn area for horses, chickens, goats, etc was also developed in addition to the standard dog, cat and bird areas. The site plan was created to be sensitive the significant ditch and tree stands that were a nesting area for large raptors and other birds of prey.
