University of Wyoming Student Housing

Russell + Mills is currently leading site planning and design efforts for a new residential village at the University of Wyoming at the northeast edge of the Campus Core. The project provides 900 new beds and a new dining facility. Site planning efforts focus on connectivity to the campus core, creating gathering spaces that allow for flexibility in use and range from intimate to public to activity based. A round-about linked transit stop provides a connection to the surrounding community and a new campus green adjacent to the student union helps link the village to the east campus. Emphasis on continuing the established campus character of granite outcrops and native plant communities helps connect the village with the campus central quadrangle.
