Stapleton Greenway Park Playground

Greenway Playground in Stapleton was also renovated after utilizing public feedback to develop two conceptual designs. Russell + Mills Studios studied playground relocation and different expansion options for the current playground the public loved and as well as addressed the safety concerns of currently existing playground. Existing playground equipment was buried into a heavily vegetated area that was not ideal for small children to be supervised in. Russell + Mills concentrated play areas together with an iconic Bird Tower themed playground that embraces the natural elements of the area and allow for active, creative and passive play. The existing play areas were repurposed with nature exploration elements that enhanced the existing topography, vegetation and water channel.
