The Current – River North

The Current is a Class-A Speculative Commercial Office Building, ‘Designed to make the everyday Extraordinary.’ The building is inspired by the spirit of the foundries, pattern shops and industrial neighborhood of early 20th Century Denver. Ground floor retail grounds the building and frames the entry where elevators connect visitors to Schnitzer West’s signature elevated Great Room Lobby. Several expansive outdoor terraces have been carefully crafted to provide a series of outdoor rooms that can be utilized for socializing, outdoor meetings and/or hosting events. A large meeting cabana on the rooftop provides all the technology necessary to host an efficient meeting, while enjoying an elevated view of the South Platte River, and Downtown Denver. A serenity rooftop lawn area provides game space and a rooftop garden to extend the biophilic design ideas from the Great Room Lobby, to the rooftop. Honoring the industrial modern design mantra, raw materials such as concrete, wood and steel form the spaces, while a high-plains plant palette supports the River North ecosystem.
