Colorado State University – Lory Student Center Renovation and Expansion

Russell + Mills Studios led the site design for the expansion of Lory Student Center – the heart of campus. The renovation and expansion is a representation of CSU for all past, current and future students. The scope entailed developing designs for the surrounding student environment including East, South and West Plazas. The project extended into the adjacent west lawn area with an amphitheater around the redesigned lagoon. Circulation patterns were developed in response to directional flows taken by students to the Campus Core. Seating areas range from public and social to intimate seating nooks for studying or socializing in small groups.
