Colorado State University – Aggie Village 

Russell + Mills Studios led the site design for the transformation of a student housing development on the south side of campus. The village revamp created 1,000 bed student housing as well as academic classrooms and community spaces. A variety of multi-use outdoor spaces creates a seamless flow from the indoors and expands work and play space for the students. The heart of Aggie Village is an academic quad with an outdoor classroom and flexible community plaza. The three south facing courtyards were constructed to welcome outdoor student activities including cafeteria style gathering space. The site also included innovative stormwater solutions and critical flow for pedestrian traffic.
